Right Now:

- Save the Date was awarded Best Overall Musical at the NYC Fringe Festival!

UCB Training Center
Growing up in Ithaca, NY was a privilege.  I was able to perform on the Hangar Theater stage at a young age, make friends with people in both the Ithaca College and Cornell music and theatre departments, and participate in really terrific music and theatre in and out of school.  College brought me back to my place of birth when I attended Emerson College in Boston.  Roles like John Hinckley in Assassins, Cliff in Cabaret, The Minister in A New Brain and Gustl Wahl in Undiscovered Country were eye-opening for me, not to mention being able to participate in some great ensembles in Pippin, Bat Boy: The Musical, and  On the Town.  The people I met, the opportunities I got and the training I received will forever be a part of who I am as a performer.

After graduation my first stop was Sacramento, CA where I was fortunate enough to play Jason in The Rabbit Hole, in my first Equity production, at The B St. Theater.  I liked California, but I knew that I wanted to move NYC soon.  So after about a year, my girlfriend (who would become my wife) and I drove across the country to get started in NY.

While I was settling into the city I participated in a number of showcases and reviews at theaters all over the city (Abingdon Theater, 45th St. Theater, Directors Company, The Duplex, Times Square Arts Center).  I also did some exciting extra work on the sets of Salt, and Life on Mars. Eventually, I was cast as the title role in a new musical by Mark T Evans, Eric Kubo and Zac Klein, I Am Jim Thompson at The Wings Theater.  Shortly after that I went upstate to the Chatham Theatre Company to play Donal in their production of A Wee Bit o' the Irish.  Most recently, I was fortunate enough to participate in a reading of Monica Bauer's new play Porter's Will, in the role of Andy at the Planet Connections Festival.  A production which was awarded Best Overall Production of A Staged Reading by the festival.  Also, I played Robert in Save the Date, a new musical by Gregory Jacobs-Roseman, at the NYC Fringe Festival. A production which was awarded Best Overall Musical by the festival.

I have also continued my studies in NYC since graduation with a few monologue and audition intensives with Rachel Hoffman, Bobby Holder and Bob Cline.  For the past year I have been studying long-form improv and the Harold with the Upright Citizens Brigade at the UCB Training Center.  I am currently in Improv 401 with Kevin Hines, but have also studied with Gavin Speiller, Shannon O'Neill, Jordan Klepper and Brandon Scott Jones.

My time in Boston solidified me as a die-hard Red Sox fan.  But now I reside in Sunnyside, NY, my favorite neighborhood, with my wife, Alisha Giampola.  We spend our time traveling as much as possible, cooking new things in our beautiful kitchen, playing board games with our neighbors and watching Breaking Bad.  We got married last September in a beautiful ceremony in Bovina, NY just outside of the Catskill State Forest.
